As a UK based business (and outside of the EU) the new EU legislation on VAT means we are temporarily unable to include taxes on orders to customers within the European Union. We are working to find a solution to this but as a small UK based business, currently, the cost of registering for VAT within the EU would mean we have to increase the price of our products.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU IF YOU ARE IN THE EU

Currently, if you place an order on PorterPepperell.com, you will pay the price you see in the checkout. Then, once your order is processed by your local customs or courier, they will contact you and ask you for payment for the VAT (usually around 20% of the retail price). You would need to pay this before they release your purchase.

We encourage our EU customers to use our Etsy and Ebay stores. As these are marketplace platforms, all taxes are included in the price you see. Etsy and Ebay orders are fulfilled in exactly the same way as orders placed directly on PorterPepperell.com.
